Business Development Associate

Tickets For Less is looking for a new business development associate for our Premium Sales division. In this role you will be responsible for building relationships with prospective clients to sell live events (sporting events/concerts/theater) around the globe. This role is primarily focused on connecting with business clients to form partnerships around their corporate entertainment needs while uncovering opportunities for their personal entertainment needs as well. This job is located at our Overland Park, KS office and is an on-site role.

Responsibilities & Job Duties (include, but are not limited to)

  • Make a required minimum number of outbound sales calls each day to meet established objectives (60+ contacts per day)
  • Prospecting and qualifying all potential sales opportunities
  • Conduct structured solicitation through outbound calls, emails and face-to-face appointments
  • Document all customer interactions through our CRM (HubSpot)
  • Create and nurture relationships with clients & prospects through excellent customer service and prompt & thorough responses for all inbound and outbound communication

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Sales and/or service experience a plus, preferred in sports and/or hospitality industries
  • Must be comfortable making cold calls
  • Strong phone skills and customer service skills
  • Ability to present sales material to potential clients
  • Proficient computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Must be able to work flexible hours as needed (occasional evening and weekend shifts)
  • Must be a self-starter with a strong work ethic and excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Must be highly coachable and adaptable
  • Dependable – consistently at work on time, follow policy and direction, respond positively to feedback
