TFL History

TFL began as Tickets For Less in 2004 when Dan Rouen realized he wouldn’t be able to attend a Kansas Basketball game. Making sure the seats didn’t go to waste, Rouen listed his tickets on eBay. The listing garnered a surprising amount of interest, prompting Rouen to dive deeper into the ticketing world and build his own customer base on the foundation of no extra fees.

Nearly two decades after listing his Jayhawks tickets, Rouen is the founder and president of a top 10 national wholesale ticket company. Today, TFL offers technology solutions to businesses and organizations, partners with professional sports teams, college athletic departments, artists, venues, promoters and other rightsholders to maximize revenue, and provides a platform for customers to buy and sell tickets to concerts, sports games and theater events nationwide.

Headquartered in Kansas City with offices in St. Louis, MO, Omaha, NE and Tuscaloosa, AL, TFL has more than 100 employees and is in the top 1% of secondary market sellers nationally.
