2025 World Series Ticket Prices: Blue Jays vs. Dodgers Market Breakdown

The 2025 World Series matchup is set, and baseball fans are buzzing. The Toronto Blue Jays are back on the game’s biggest stage for the first time since 1993, and the long wait has clearly intensified fan demand. On the other hand, the Los Angeles Dodgers are looking to defend their 2024 title with superstar Shohei Ohtani, whose presence continues to energize both fans and the ticket market.

Tickets for this series are commanding serious attention, and the data shows just how the storylines on the field are influencing the Average Ticket Price (ATP) across both markets.

Looking Back: 2024’s Power Matchup

Last year’s Dodgers vs. Yankees World Series was a dream matchup between two iconic franchises, and the numbers reflected that. The 2024 series opened in Los Angeles, where ticket prices averaged just over $1,100 for Game 1 and climbed near $1,200 for Game 2.

When the series shifted to New York, demand exploded. Yankee Stadium saw the year’s highest ATP at more than $1,550 for Game 3, followed by almost $1,300 for Game 4 and roughly $1,140 for Game 5. It was a high-priced series from start to finish, reflecting both star power and historic rivalry appeal.

2025: A New Kind of Excitement

This year’s matchup tells a slightly different story. While overall ATPs are trending a bit lower than 2024, the excitement around Toronto’s long-awaited return to the World Series has driven significant early demand.

Games 1 and 2 in Toronto are averaging $1,079.15 and $1,242.53, respectively. Both are notably strong, especially given the Canadian market and the rarity of this event. Should the series return to Toronto for Games 6 and 7, the data projects that tickets could hover around $1,300–$1,400, rivaling some of last year’s highest points.

On the West Coast, Dodgers’ home games remain strong but slightly more stable. Game 3 is averaging $1,085.48; Game 4 sits around $1,018.65, and if a Game 5 is needed, that is currently tracking near $950. It is clear Los Angeles fans remain engaged, but the urgency is greater in Toronto, where fans have not had this kind of October baseball moment in over three decades.

Comparing 2024 and 2025

Across both years, the data shows one consistent trend: storylines drive ticket prices.

In 2024, the historic Yankees-Dodgers rivalry fueled record demand. In 2025, Toronto’s rare appearance, combined with the chance for a repeat in Los Angeles, is sustaining similarly high enthusiasm. The average 2025 ATP is tracking just over $1,070, compared to $1,220 last year, proving that fan emotion and scarcity can keep the market strong even without a marquee New York team in the mix.

The Takeaway

From coast to coast, fans are paying for history. The Dodgers remain one of the MLB’s most bankable draws, but this year’s surge in Toronto shows how a single narrative, three decades in the making, can lift an entire market.

As the Blue Jays chase their first title since 1993 and the Dodgers look to repeat as champions, the ticket data underscores what makes the World Series so powerful: the mix of nostalgia, momentum and hope that no algorithm can quantify, but every fan can feel.
