What to Know About Tuesday’s MLB All-Star Game
The week when MLB fans can see their favorite players all in one place is coming to an end.
The MLB All-Star Game will conclude MLB All-Star Week on Tuesday at T-Mobile Park in Seattle, Washington. The last time it was held in the city was in 2001.
There are 33 All-Stars that are playing for the first time – which is tied for the eighth most ever – including the Cincinnati Reds’ Alexis Diaz, the San Francisco Giants’ Camilo Doval and the Baltimore Orioles’ Yennier Cano.
The National League All-Stars will look to break the American League All-Stars streak. The team has won nine consecutive games.
So far, the average ticket price to get into the game is $843, which is less expensive than the average ticket price for February’s NBA All-Star Game in Salt Lake City, Utah, which was $1,456.
The All-Star Game’s price is significantly higher than the highest average ticket prices for this year’s regular season games, with the Astros-White Sox game on March 30 landing at $260, the Dodgers-Red Sox game on August 26 at $258 and the Phillies-Rangers on March 30 at $237.
The MLB All-Star Game can be watched on FOX at 8 p.m. ET.
WNBA All-Star Game
MLB isn’t the only league showing off its stars this week.
The WNBA All-Star Game will be played in Las Vegas at Michelob ULTRA Arena on Saturday. The average ticket price: $256.
Fans can tune in at 8:30 p.m. ET on ABC.
